Making Money on Red Bubble
If you are a photographer or graphic designer and you are looking to make a little money then head over to Red Bubble. The site lets you upload your photographs or graphics to be made available on a variety of products. The great thing is that you do not have to do anything apart from uploading your creative content. Red Bubble does the rest.
You can upload as many pictures as you like and choose as many of their products that you want and it does not cost you a thing, just your time.
Red Bubble lets you set your own commission. The lowest mark-up is 5%. However, your mark-up is added onto the product price so be aware not to make your mark-up too much to deter buyers. Most of my mark-ups are set st 5%. However, for cheaper items like stickers and masks, I have it set to 10%. For example, stickers are priced at £1.57 — £9.74 and I receive £0.12 — £0.75 per sale as my mark-up is 10%.
Some products are more popular than others. I have found that recently I have sold a lot of masks for example. I made 6 sales in November and I have 379 photographs uploaded. In comparison to stock photography, my earnings on Red Bubble per photograph are much higher.
Get creative and give it a go. Thanks for reading.
