People are fascinated by Only Fans. As a historian, I love writing about history. In reality, hardly anyone reads my history-related articles. The most popular posts that I have written have been about Only Fans. The popularity of the platform combined with speaking to an aquatint led me to write another post. This particular creator, who wants to remain anonymous wanted to share her experience on the site to help others who may be considering joining, so she agreed to do a Q&A with me.
Q. Why did you start an Only Fans page?
A. I have done work as…

When I scroll through my TikTok ‘for you’ feed, it is littered with creators claiming that they make thousands from various side hustles. I love side hustling and have tried all sorts in the past to make an extra few $$ on the side. So I decided to try a few of these side hustles that people on TikTok were recommending. Some I had tried before, some I already do and some were completely new to me.
Whilst some creators showed their alleged income, it is important to do your own research and always be sceptical as there are a…

Remember when YouTube was great? I am old enough to remember watching videos on YouTube back in 2005 before Google purchased the site in 2006. Even back in the early Google days, the platform was great. However, as YouTube (Google/ Alphabet. Inc) has grown, the platform has lost its way.
As a YouTube viewer, one of my personal gripes with the platform and other social media platforms is when platforms and creators get too big. There are a lot of creators that I do not watch any more because they have gone from regular people making videos to money grabbing…

After reading a number of negative articles and posts about Google and their parent company Alphabet inc, I decided that I was going to try and stop using everything that was related to Google and its group of companies. According to Wikipedia, there are currently 243 Alphabet owned companies and that number continues to grow.
At first, I thought that ridding myself of everything Google would be easy. However, I came to realise just how much I relied on Google. They certainly know what they are doing, using Google is easy and convenient as you can do multiple things in…

Laws is one of my favourite museums to visit and I always think it does not get the number of visitors that it deserves. It is a really great museum and there have only been one or two other people looking around when I have visited.
I always leave a full day to explore here as there is so much to see. Admission is by donation, but I always leave something as the museum runs on donations and the volunteers are extremely knowledgable and always willing to educate visitors on the history of the museum and the local area.
There…
This building façade sits inside the American Wing of the New York MET Museum. The building was once the Branch Bank of the United States and was located on the north side of Wall Street, between Nassau and William streets.
The building was built in 1825 and was designed by Martin Euclid Thompson (1786–1877). Thompson was a leading exponent of Greek Revival style architecture. The bank building was his earliest known design. In the 1850s, it was used as the United States Assay Office before being demolished in 1915. …
The Mi Amigo memorial is located inside Endcliffe Park in Sheffield and is in memory of the World War II crash site of the USAAF B-17 Flying Fortress Mi Amigo.
The plane crashed on 22 February 1944, as it made its way back from Denmark to base in Northampton. The plane had been badly damaged by Nazi enemy fighters and needed somewhere to land as the engines were failing. The pilot, Lt John Kriegshauser managed to avoid civilians and buildings, crash landing into the woods inside Endcliffe Park. Sadly, the aircraft exploded, killing all 10 airmen on board.
Lt John…
The flats at Park Hill were built as part of a post-war housing project throughout Sheffield. Park Hill was one of several ‘streets in the sky’ schemes that sought to solve the problem of the growing post-war population in Sheffield.
The Park Hill development replaced slum housing, which I have read was known as ‘Little Chicago’ and was demolished due to violent crimes. The design of Park Hill was Inspired by Le Corbusier’s Unité d’Habitation in Marseille and was designed by architects Jack Lynn and Ivor Smith under the supervision of Sheffield Council’s J. L. Womersley. …

If you are starting a YouTube channel in 2021 then getting noticed on the platform can be very difficult. Tens of thousands of creators are signing up every day and it seems like everything has already been done on YouTube. If you are starting a channel with the purpose of getting monetized then be warned, growth on the platform can take years and even when you reach those golden numbers of 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time, you are still not guaranteed to get your content monetized.
Recently, some creators that have been on the platform for years…

There is no escaping Only Fans, especially after all the hype surrounding Bella Thorne making over one million dollars in her first day on the adult site without even getting her kit off. The Bella Thorne hype, as well as Lockdown rules, saw record numbers of people signing up to the site in the hope of making some easy money. But is it that easy to make money on OnlyFans if you do not create anything raunchy? Surely if it was, everyone would be doing it?
Indeed, Only Fans is known for being an adult site. However, you are free…
